SITS 2020 Cancelled

Dear Friends,

Summer In The Son has been a part of the culture of KCU for over 30 years. However, this is an extraordinary moment in time. Due to the pandemic, we are cancelling the onsite version of SITS for this summer. This decision was made primarily to do our part to ensure that the spread of the COVID-19 virus is slowed. Everyone’s safety is our primary concern.

However, we also made the decision based on the fact that local church budgets are being stretched to meet salaries and other fixed costs. In response to that, we are returning the deposits that we had already received for this summer and we ask that no new deposits be sent until we open registration for SITS 2021.

We are also working diligently on materials and resources that we will send to the churches at no cost. Be on the lookout for more information on that coming soon!

We do apologize that we felt the need to cancel SITS 2020, but we look forward to celebrating when we can gather together again.

Prepared for the World

“KCU was more than a University, it was also a home for me. Professors didn’t just worry about my grades, but
they knew about my life, provided counsel, encouraged me, and pushed me to grow. I felt that my education for
ministry was amazing and really helped prepare me for ministry. A lot of my spiritual mentors have come out of
KCU and also some lifelong friendships with fellow students. KCU might not be the biggest school, but it has one
of the biggest hearts.”
