Position Summary:
Performs custodial maintenance activities and related duties.Reporting Relationship:
The Housekeeping Assistant reports administratively to the Housekeeping Supervisor. The Housekeeping Assistant works closely with all operational units across campus.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Position Description
Summary: The Dean of the School of Business and Leadership has primary leadership responsibility for the School of Business and Leadership
Reporting Relationship: The Dean of the School of Business and Leadership reports administratively to the Vice President of Academic Affairs. The Dean provides direct supervision for the school’s faculty and other personnel.
Essential Characteristics and Skills: The Dean of the School of Business and Leadership is, first and foremost, a Christian of mature faith who can clearly articulate his/her relationship with Jesus Christ. The Dean is committed to advancing the mission of KCU as a leader in the School of Business and Leadership and can clearly demonstrate the role of ministry in business. The Dean will be able to manage a team and effectively monitor and measure outcomes for continued success while also being approachable by students, faculty, and staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Dean of the School of Business and Leadership has the following duties and responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to the School of Business and Leadership.
- Coordinate the operations of the School of Business and Leadership.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with the university’s administration, other divisions and departments within the University, related facilities, and the community.
- Participate in the preparation and administration of the School of Business and Leadership budget.
- Screen and recommend candidates for faculty appointment, retention, and promotion.
- Develop and implement program policies.
- Facilitate continuing academic and professional development for the faculty.
- Ensure the faculty shall be adequate in number and composition to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the School of Business and Leadership and its curriculum in relation to the stated purpose, philosophy, objectives, number of classes and students admitted annually.
- Mentor School of Business and Leadership faculty to enhance their teaching role.
- Lead the development of new undergraduate and graduate programs within the School of Business and Leadership.
- Represent the School of Business and Leadership on the Academic Council and other committees.
- Represent the University as a spokesperson to the various publics to which it addresses itself, and provide such information as may be necessary to assure clear understanding of the state of the School of Business and Leadership, its needs, and its mission.
- Ensure that all faculty and staff positions within the School of Business and Leadership are filled with qualified individuals for both present and future needs.
- Promote coordination of the strategic planning efforts as they relate to the School of Business and Leadership.
- Ensure that the School of Business and Leadership complies with all Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges regulations and accreditation standards.
- Represent the School of Business and Leadership and provide leadership within the larger academic community and professional associations.
- Engage the tristate business community as a leader in support of economic development.
- Participate in institutional advancement activities as requested by the Office of Advancement related to annual fundraising.
- Supervise, develop, and review the performance of those individuals who report to the Dean of the School of Business and Leadership.

QUALIFICATION:
- Education: The Dean of the School of Business and Leadership should hold an earned doctorate from a regionally accredited institution in a discipline related to the educational programs of the School of Business and Leadership.
- Experience: The Dean of the School of Business and Leadership must be an experienced faculty member and must have served previously in capacities that demonstrate the ability to lead faculty in continual improvement. The Dean must have a working knowledge of current business practices, principles, and standards as evidenced through extensive business/professional experience. The ideal candidate will bring preparation through education and experience that demonstrate one’s ability to both lead the School of Business and Leadership and provide exceptional instruction to students enrolled in the School’s classes. In addition to extensive business/professional experience, the Dean must have experience working in diverse settings and be student-centered. The Dean must have experience building programs, recruiting students, and establishing a network of internship opportunities for business majors. The preferred candidate will have experience in programmatic accreditation for business programs.

Position Description
SUMMARY: The primary function of the Staff Accountant – A/R Specialist is to assist the Controller and Senior Staff Accountant in providing support for the University’s accounting functions.
CLASSIFICATION: Full-time 12-month salary non-exempt staff position.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: The Staff Accountant – A/R Specialist reports administratively to the Controller and works closely with the Senior Staff Accountant, as well as operational units and academic departments throughout the institution.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the processing of requisitions, invoices, monthly statements, credit card statements, and utility bills.
- Responsible for coordinating invoices/approval of payments to departments throughout the institution as necessary.
- Responsible for recording daily cash receipts and transporting deposits to local financial institutions.
- Coordinates the billing, maintenance, and collection of accounts receivable for the University.
- Assists the University’s Advancement Office with gift-related accounting.
- Weekly check printing and distribution.
- Completes monthly sales tax reporting.
- Tracks accrual of payables for the yearly audit.
- Manages and monitors the Federal Perkins Loan program.
- Conducts purchasing activities for departments as necessary.
- Follows all accounting and internal control systems.
- Participates in the professional development and cross-training of workers in the Business Operations Unit.
- Prepares various internal and external reports as needed.
- Along with other Business Operations Unit personnel, helps answer the Unit telephone and assists guests.

Summary:
Kentucky Christian University invites applications for a full-time, open-rank faculty position in Healthcare Administration within the School of Business and Leadership, beginning in Fall of 2024. The successful candidate will instruct students in our BBA program and assist in the development of a Healthcare Administration concentration. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to working with students from diverse backgrounds through teaching and experiential learning opportunities. While content areas are open, expertise in health services or healthcare administration, education, finance, law, leadership, policy, management, operations, organizational behavior, and/or quality improvement is preferred.

4. Ability to clearly write complex correspondence, memos, and reports
