Student Clinical Requirements
Total Hours: 528
Primary Care: 203 hours
Pediatrics: 100 hours
Women’s Health: 75 hours
Specialty: 150 hours- These hours can be used for any specialty or as additional hours in either of the other 3 categories.
Clinical Skills Checklist
At the completion of the 528 clinical hours, students will be expected to have completed a minimum of the clinical skills listed below. Skills can be checked off if observed or completed by the student with preceptor oversight. Completion of the requirements will be monitored using Typhon. Students unable to meet requirements will be given remediation assignments to ensure all learning objectives have been met.

Student needs a high level of direction in developing plan of care, which decreases through clinical rotation

Preceptor allows the students to take on more independent responsibilities through the clinical rotation

Student gains confidence in analyzing data, determining differential diagnoses, and developing plan of care
