Seaman Church of Christ

  • Set office hours at least 3 times per week between the hours of 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM for a minimum of four hours each day
  • Assist with updating web and Facebook pages
  • Sunday morning and evening preaching at weekly service. Lead Wednesday evening prayer and Bible Study
  • Be involved in the Seaman Community and ministry with local churches and organizations, such as the North Adams Elementary and High School, local Nursing homes, and the Adams County Regional Medical Center.
  • Work with Leadership in the organizational structure of the church’s ministries
  • Teach a Sunday School/VBS Class as needed
  • Build a Youth Ministry for Seaman Church of Christ as one of the focal points of the church
  • Train and teach leadership to prospective and current leaders of the church
  • Visit the members and their families as needs arise
  • Spend time building church attendance by inviting and teaching
  • Be involved in activities of the church by assisting in planning and attending
  • Office duties: checking and answering email, face book, phone messages, etc. Distribute mail if necessary or by answering inquiries
  • Willing to work with the Elders
  • Other duties as needed
