Gallipolis Christian Church
The Associate Pastor will serve as part of a ministry team with the Lead Pastor, Kids Pastor, and Worship Arts Director to creatively engage the congregation of ~300 members in discipleship. As our church continues to grow, we need someone with a fun personality, inherent love for people, and passion for spiritual development to help us weave these new individuals into the fabric of the church community and to create space for discipling.
The Associate will answer directly to the Lead Pastor and the elected elders of GCC, receive his/her own office and resources for ministry related work, and have a somewhat varied mixture of full-time responsibilities within the church. This work will include facilitating small groups, overseeing teams of volunteers, and occasionally preaching sermons or teaching Bible study classes. Beyond this, we are open to experimenting with creative ideas and finding new ways to encourage and equip our church family and better serve the needs of our community.
The ideal candidate will have a Bible/Ministry degree and 3-5 years of experience in a ministry related field. GCC is commited to holding space for ALL people to explore their relationship with God and develop love for ALL of their neighbors. Please contact us for more info!
