First Christian Church of Margate

PREACHING MINISTER: The First Christian Church of Margate is currently in search of a full-time minister. Situated in the beautiful city of Margate, Florida, our church comprises a diverse membership of approximately 50-60 individuals from various backgrounds. We have a good online presence, streaming our Sunday services, Bible Study sessions, and Wednesday Night Bible Study on both YouTube and Facebook. Our church is located in the greater Fort Lauderdale area, offering ample opportunities for expansion. With a debt-free facility that can accommodate over 200 people, we are well-positioned for growth.
We are specifically seeking a preacher who aligns with Restoration church principles and doctrines. This includes beliefs such as baptism for the remission of sins, communion observed every Sunday, and the plenary verbal inspiration of the Bible. Ideally, candidates will have graduated from one of our brotherhood universities or Church of Christ schools. As the minister of our church, it will be crucial for the individual to collaborate closely with the church’s elders in order to inspire and engage the membership in various church activities. The salary range from $60K – $70K, determined based on the candidate’s experience and educational background and housing needs.

Opportunity to Use My Abilities for God

“At KCU I was able to learn under the guidance of the best ministry professors and administrators. KCU gave me
my first opportunity to use my abilities for God. KCU gave me an opportunity to excel athletically, artistically, and
academically. But most of all, when I look back on my time at KCU, I will remember the people. I will remember the
smiles, I will remember the laughs my friends and I shared. KCU is a family and one I am very proud to be in.”

Cody Sabol, Class of 2017
