Homecoming Weekend at KCU: A Celebration of Unity and Strength
Kentucky Christian University (KCU) recently hosted its annual Homecoming Weekend, a joyous occasion that brought together alumni, students, and faculty in a spirit of camaraderie and shared purpose. From Sept 29th to October 1st, the campus was abuzz with a multitude of events and activities, providing something for everyone to enjoy.
Under the theme “Stronger Together,” this year’s Homecoming Weekend emphasized the power of unity and collaboration within the KCU community. Drawing inspiration from Ecclesiastes 4:12, which states, “A cord of three strands is not easily broken,” the event highlighted the strength that comes from standing together as a family. By joining forces, the KCU family can make a greater impact for God’s Kingdom.
The festivities kicked off on Friday evening with the Alumni Banquet, where former students had the opportunity to reconnect with old friends and reminisce about their time at KCU. The excitement continued on Saturday with tailgating and a thrilling KCU Knights football game, where alumni, students, and fans cheered on their beloved team. The weekend concluded on a spiritual note with a Worship Service on Sunday morning in the Nash Chapel, providing a moment of reflection and gratitude.
In addition to these marquee events, Homecoming Weekend featured a variety of other activities sprinkled throughout the schedule. From campus tours and class reunions to art exhibitions, attendees were treated to a diverse range of experiences that showcased the vibrant and inclusive nature of the KCU community.
As the echoes of Homecoming Weekend fade, the spirit of togetherness and strength will continue to resonate within the KCU community. With a renewed sense of purpose and a commitment to collaboration, the KCU family is poised to make a lasting impact on the world.
