Dorm Checkout – Third Party Individual

Due to the risks associated with the novel coronavirus/COVID-19 infections Kentucky Christian University/"University" suspended in-person classes and is requiring students to vacate University undergraduate residence halls.  I understand that the University is allowing students to request an exception to permit other designated individuals to remove a students’ belongings from their assigned university housing space if the student agrees to sign this release of claims and assumption of risk. I am requesting the University make an exception to its policy of not allowing parties other than myself to enter my residence unescorted for the purpose of removing my belongings.  In consideration of the University allowing me this exception, I willingly accept all risk associated with allowing identified parties to enter my residence in my absence and assume all risk associated with damaged item(s), lost item(s), injury of the designated individual(s) acting on my behalf, and any subsequent charges due to the room’s condition upon inspection at a later date.    I understand that, even if I sign this form and am granted an exception, the University still has the right, if in the best interest of public health, safety, or University operational concerns with advance notice to me, to not permit a designated individual to enter the premises, or, to no longer allow these exceptions.
